Continuation of: Where are the Children?

Finishing my second ever murder mystery, I'm going to look into more of Higgins books. the whole book, all the pieces that the characters have put together give you clues bit by bit until you know, or think you know who it is. Then after that point, it's basically you wishing that this character knew this information, or had seen something they missed. The suspence keeps the pages turning. It was tricky at first to figure out who Courtney Parish, the murderer, is becuase in the end it ends up being the main character, Nancys, X husband that you dont hear much about until the end I got to piece similarities between the two together until i had figured out who it was. All in all I think it was a quick interesting read.

Sabriel Garth Nix

Aside form reading, "Where are the Children", I'm reading Sabriel. My friend from work requested it stating that if i had liked "Harry Potter" I would love this book, and so far its great. I dont read alot of fantasy unless im really into it, and so far I'm liking this, alot of the vocabulary is a bit confussing since most of the terms are made up, so sometimes I have to ask or look it up. The blend between magic and the setting makes it a great read. I would suggest this book to anyone that likes a bit of fantasy and mystery and doesn't mind struggling every once in a while.
